The volleyball team of the Yazd Zoroastrian youth club was commemorated by the governor of Yazd Province
The governor of Yazd, accompanied by the sports officials of Yazd city, honored the technical staff and players of the women’s volleyball team of the Zoroastrian Youth Club of Yazd in the Yazd’s Yeganegi Hall.
According to the public relations of the Yazd Zoroastrian Youth Organization and Club, the ceremony was attended by a group of officials from the Volleyball Board and the Yazd Youth and Sports Department, the President of the Yazd Zoroastrian Association, and members of the board of the youth club of Yazd in Yazd Yeganegi Hall. Mohammad Rastegari, Governor of Yazd, Sepanta Niknam, President of Yazd Zoroastrian Association, Reza Nargani, President of Yazd Youth and Sports Department, Abbas Alvansaz, Deputy of Yazd Sports and Youth, Nafiseh Vakhshozi, Deputy of Yazd Sports and Youth, Mostafa Zarezadeh, Head of Volleyball Board Yazd city, Bahram Bostani, CEO of Yazd Zoroastrian Youth Organization and Club, Azarmindokht Bondarian, President of the women section of Yazd Zoroastrian Youth Organization and Club, Razieh Seyed Abrishami, Deputy Chairman of Yazd City Volleyball Board and Ehsan Soltani, Secretary of Yazd City Volleyball Board were attended at the ceremony.
The promotion of the Volleyball Team of the Zoroastrian Youth Club of Yazd to the final stage of the first division women’s volleyball league, and achievement of fourth place in Iran, an honor in the history of volleyball in Yazd province, was achieved with the cooperation and unity of Zoroastrians and Muslims native players of Yazd. Anahita Namiranian, head coach, and Alieh Fotouhi, a head coach under Fereydoun Najmi, led the 1399-1400 season.
