Meeting of Sports Officials with the Women’s Volleyball team of Yazd Zoroastrian Youth Club
Sports officials of Yazd Province met with the members of the women’s volleyball team of the Zoroastrian Youth Club of Yazd, in the course of preparing the team for the first division league.
The hosts of these sports officials were the Director; a group of members; Board of Directors of the Zoroastrian Organization and Youth Club of Yazd; Sepanta Nicknam, Director of Yazd Zoroastrian Association; the management team and players of the women’s volleyball team.
In this meeting, the Deputy Minister of Women’s Sports Development of Yazd Province; the head of Yazd Sports and Youth Department; Chairman of Yazd County Folleyball Board; Vice Chairman of Yazd County Volleyball Board; secretary of Yazd County Volleyball Board; and the Women’s Sports expert from Yazd County had a friendly chat with the team leaders, and were made familiar with the manner in which the preparations of the team were made.
Alieh Fotoohi as a coach, Vajiheh Dehghani as a coaching assistant, and Anahita Namiranian as team supervisor are members of the technical staff. Ayda Jamshidi Kalantari, Azadeh Azarian, Yasna Demehri, and Fereshteh Felfeli are the Zoroastrian women players of the volleyball team. This team will compete for the second time in the first league of the country with the support of the Yazd Zoroastrian Association and Steel Factory of Yazd. Last week, the management staff of the Yazd Zoroastrian Youth Volleyball Team, accompanied by Spanta Niknam, director of the Yazd Zoroastrian Association, met with Seyed Mohammad Ahramian and Bahador Ahramian, managers of the Yazd Steel Factory and thanked the Factory for its support of the Province’s sports, especially the women’s volleyball organization and the Zoroastrian Youth Club of Yazd.
