پیام آرامش‌باد انجمن زرتشتیان انگلستان در پی درگذشت موبد کورش نیکنام

انجمن زرتشتیان انگلستان به همراه زرتشتیان ساکن انگلیس پیام آرامش‌بادی را برای درگذشت موبد کورش نیکنام فرستاد.

به روان و فروهر پاک درگذشتگان درود باد

موبد کورش نیکنام، پژوهشگری خردمند، کنشگری پرتوان، موبد و نویسنده‌ای آگاه که در راه گسترش و آموزش پیام زرتشت و فرهنگ ایرانی گام برمی‌داشت، خیلی زود از میان ما رخت بربست. روانش شاد و راهش پر رهرو باد.

انجمن زرتشتیان و همکیشان ساکن انگلستان درگذشت این موبد گران‌قدر را به خانواده گرامی ایشان و همه دوستدارانش آرامش باد می‌گوید. یادش گرامی و بهشت بهره‌اش باد.

To our Zarthushti humdins in Iran!

We in the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe and our Zarthoshti Anjuman in the UK convey our deepest condolences for the sad demise of Ravanshad Mobed Kourosh Niknam, to his family, friends and our humdins in Iran.

Raavanshad Mobed Kourosh Niknam served our Zarthoshti din and community in Iran and later in Europe as a mobed and religious teacher. He also served his madar vatan Iran during the bloody Iran Iraq war during the 1980s. Later he represented our Zarthoshti community in Iran as an elected parliamentarian in the Iranian Majlis. Mobed Kourosh Niknam was brave and outspoken and a passionate speaker, which at times got him in trouble.

We in the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe warmly remember him, when in 2005 we welcomed him to our Zoroastrian Centre in London for the Eight World Zoroastrian Congress. We remember Mobed Kourosh Niknam on the stage for the inauguration with Mobed Mehraban Firouzgary and others including Dastur Khurshed – High Priest of Iranshah Atash Behram in India and our Mobed Rustom Bhedwar, when our patron benefactor Arbab Mobed Mehraban Jamshid Zartoshty lighted the divo oil lamp for the opening ceremony of the Eight World Zoroastrian Congress.

Last time I met Mobed Kourosh Niknam was in Perth, Australia, in 2018 for the World Zoroastrian Congress. Like London 2005, Perth 2018 also had a large Zarthoshti delegation from Iran. May the soul of Mobed Kourosh Nikbam rest in eternal peace in Garothman.
